Trump continues to lie about the non-existent “War on Christmas”

Trump sent out Christmas Eve wishes by praising himself for “leading the charge against the assault” on the phrase “Merry Christmas,” in yet another example of the president claiming to have won a dispute that never existed.

Trump has repeatedly lied and claimed that American citizens were somehow unable to freely say the season’s greeting until he became president.

And here’s a clip showing Trump repeating the lie and, more importantly, clips of all the times Obama said, you got it, “Merry Christmas.”

There was never a war on Christmas. However Trump is engaged in a full blown war on facts and truth. And he has his own “Newspeak” where the words “diversity,” “fetus,” “transgender,” “vulnerable,” “entitlement,” “science-based” and “evidence-based” can’t be used in certain government budget proposals.
