It’s difficult to believe, but this is actually a word for word tweet from the President of the United States. This is after Republicans in the senate criticized Trump for abandoning Kurdish allies, without consultation within his own government, or with allies.

As I have stated strongly before, and just to reiterate, if Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey (I’ve done before!).
